The Bolles School, Jacksonville, FL
After providing private education in the Jacksonville Area for more than 11 decades, this institution has long been known as one of the best and most prestigious in Florida, serving over 50 international students. With 4 campuses in Northeast Florida, they have made it part of their mission to continually make improvements to the area, keeping it beautiful for students and visitors alike.
Late in the year 2012 Blueworks began planning for a Storm Drain CIPP Pipe Lining and Drain Cleaning to begin during the Holiday Break when the campus was not in full swing. The Project included CIPP Pipe Lining over 1,154 LF of 18”, 24”, 30” & 36” VCP and Concrete Storm Drain Pipe, Re-Installation of Covered Manholes as well as other necessary structures throughout the San Jose campus.
Blueworks internally inspected all of the designated storm drains using Sewer Drain Cameras to evaluate and map the system for restoration. The Storm Drain System required Drain Cleaning through Sewer Jetting and De-Silting using a Vactor, removing over 7 yards of sand and debris.
The Storm Drain System at The Bolles School was given new life by Blueworks and their team of professionals. All issues were addressed to ensure the customer’s needs were met, and as a bonus to the customer, Blueworks was able to come in under their budget. This project included Excavation of Collapsed Sections for Replacement, Installation of new Collection Grates, Installation of Outflow Structures at Inlet to ensure proper functioning of system, as well as Manhole Rehabilitation and Ledge Replacement.
