Retail spaces and shopping malls

We repair the sewer and storm lines beneath your shopping center and retail space.

Under a shopping center, one sewer main can serve a row of tenants, and the storm lines carry water off acres of parking. We camera-inspect those lines, clean them and line the suitable runs from cleanouts and manholes, so fewer storefronts, sidewalks and parking rows have to be opened.

Estimates are free. Camera inspections may carry a charge.

We lined underground mains and laterals at a 15-acre Florida automotive dealership.

The same kind of pipe runs under every retail property: mains collecting from each building and laterals out to them. Our published reference list also includes underground main and lateral lining at a 583-bed hospital, a mobile home park and a villa community, and underground lining at a high school.

We find the line behind the backups in your tenants' spaces.

A shared main is backing up into the lowest tenant.

When the main under your center is cracked, offset or root-filled, flow from every connected tenant backs up at the lowest fixture on the line. The tenant who calls is often not the one causing the problem. Our camera inspection shows where the restriction is and which branch feeds it.

Restaurant tenants are sending grease into your building sewer.

Food-service tenants load shared lines with grease, which hardens and narrows them for everyone downstream. We clean the shared line and inspect the restaurant branches. Our restaurant and grease storage page covers kitchen lines in detail.

Parking-lot storm lines are cracked or filling with sediment.

Storm pipes under your lot carry runoff from roofs and pavement. Sediment, roots and separated joints reduce their capacity and cause ponding at inlets after heavy rain. We desilt the lines, inspect them and line the runs that can carry a liner.

We schedule your repair around store hours and tenant access.

We can schedule your line work before opening, after close or overnight. We work out with you which tenants lose a line during each phase, how long it is out of service and where our equipment stages, so your team can notify tenants before we arrive.

When a single section has failed under one storefront, a spot repair restores that length without disturbing the rest of the line.

We repair your lines in five documented steps.

01

We camera-inspect the main, the laterals and the storm lines from existing access.

Where your layout gives us access, cleanouts, manholes and catch basins provide the footage without opening floors.

02

We clean the lines.

We remove grease, roots, sediment and scale with the method that suits each pipe.

03

We line suitable runs with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP).

The liner goes in from existing access and cures inside your pipe, then we reopen each tenant’s lateral connection.

04

We replace collapsed sections and limit the opening to them.

Pipe that has collapsed or lost its slope cannot carry a liner, so we dig up and replace that section only.

05

We camera-inspect the finished lines.

You receive the closeout footage for your property records.

You receive the footage, a written findings summary and a scope that separates common lines from tenant lines.

The scope identifies which repairs are on shared mains and storm lines and which are on a single tenant’s branch, which helps you allocate the cost under your leases.

We price your center's repair from footage, access and store hours.

  • Footage and diameter of the shared mains, tenant laterals and storm lines.
  • How much grease, sediment and root cleaning comes first.
  • Spot repairs versus full-length lining for each run.
  • Work before opening, after close or overnight.
  • Sections under storefronts, sidewalks or parking that need replacement.

Questions retail property owners and managers ask us.

Yes. We can schedule your line work before opening, after close or overnight, and we agree the phasing with you before we start.

Yes. We clean, inspect and line storm pipe under parking and site areas, and we keep that work separate from the sanitary sewer scope.

Yes, where the rest of the line is sound. A spot repair restores the failed length only.

We treat the shared line as one system: we clean it, inspect each restaurant branch and scope the repair for the whole run.
