Hotels and casinos

We repair the drain stacks and sewer lines in your hotel or casino resort around your guests.

Every stack in a hotel tower serves a column of rooms you want to keep selling. We inspect, clean and line your risers and mains in phases planned around occupancy, and we replace the sections that cannot be lined.

Estimates are free. Camera inspections may carry a charge.

We find the stack problems behind guest complaints and out-of-order rooms.

Guest-room stacks are scaling up and draining slowly.

A hotel stack serves the same bathroom position on every floor, and heavy daily use builds scale and debris inside it. Slow tubs and backups on lower floors are the first sign. We clean the stack to its wall and camera-inspect it to see whether it needs lining.

Kitchen, laundry and restaurant lines are carrying grease and lint.

Back-of-house lines take grease from kitchens and lint from laundries around the clock. We clear them with methods chosen for your pipe, then line the corroded cast iron where its wall can still carry a liner. Our restaurant and commercial kitchen page covers that work in detail.

Your tower drains through a Sovent system.

Many of our hotel records are Sovent buildings, including both Ritz-Carlton projects listed below. Sovent fittings need system-aware inspection and cleaning before any lining is proposed.

We bring the same tower, kitchen and underground work to casino resorts.

A casino resort runs hotel towers, restaurants, buffets and back-of-house kitchens that rarely close, over underground mains and parking-structure drains. Those buildings drain through the same kinds of stacks, kitchen lines and mains described on this page. We plan the work around the hours your gaming floor, restaurants and rooms are busiest, and we keep each phase to the lines your engineering team can take out of service.

We plan your repair by stack and by room block.

01

We map each stack to the rooms it serves.

Your engineering team sees which rooms go out of order for each phase before you approve it.

02

We camera-inspect every stack from the roof and cleanouts.

The footage separates the stacks that need lining now from those that need only cleaning.

03

We clean, line and reinspect one block of rooms at a time.

Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) restores each suitable stack from inside, and the rooms on that line return to inventory after the finished stack is camera-inspected.

04

We replace the fittings and sections that cannot be lined.

Where your layout allows, we schedule the replacement inside the same room block, so those rooms go out of order once.

We have worked on stacks in occupied hotels from seven to 24 stories.

Florida beachfront hotel · 7 stories · 177 units · built 1982

We lined 35 sanitary stacks and about 4,000 feet of stacks and mains while the hotel kept operating.

Our published reference reports that operation continued without removing guests.

Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island · Fernandina Beach, Florida · 8 stories · 448 units

We accessed, inspected, cleaned and reinspected 40 vertical sanitary risers in a phase completed in March 2015.

The hotel drains through a Sovent single-stack system. The remaining risers were scheduled for a later phase.

Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner · McLean, Virginia · 24 stories

We accessed, inspected, cleaned and reinspected three vertical sanitary risers in November 2015.

The balance of the building was planned for a later phase.

Florida luxury hotel · 8 stories · 529 units · built 1988

We inspected, cleaned and restored more than 3,000 feet of Sovent stacks in an eight-story luxury hotel.

You receive the footage, a written findings summary and a phased scope tied to your room inventory.

Each phase lists the stacks, the rooms out of order and the days they are out. Your revenue and engineering teams can plan around the same schedule.

We price your hotel repair by stack and by phase.

  • The number of stacks that need lining, cleaning only or replacement.
  • Stack height and the number of room connections on each.
  • Back-of-house kitchen, laundry and underground lines in the scope.
  • How many rooms you can take out of order in each phase.
  • Night work and the hours your restaurants and public areas are busiest.

Questions hotel engineering and ownership teams ask us.

That is how we plan hotel work. Our record includes 35 stacks lined in a beachfront hotel that kept operating without removing guests. Your stack layout and occupancy decide how many rooms are out of order in each phase.

The rooms on the stack being repaired are out of service. Because a stack serves the same position on each floor, a phase usually takes one vertical line of rooms. Your scope lists them before you approve it.

Yes. We clean and line the back-of-house lines that carry grease and lint, and we schedule the work around your food and beverage service.

Our record includes the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia. Today we take on projects across Florida and in California, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas, confirming fit and mobilization for each one.
